The Browns promoted TE Evan Moore from the practice squad late last week, and in his first game in Cleveland, QB Brady Quinn looked his way 11 times. Moore caught six of those passes for 80 yards. The Browns really don't have another viable pass-catching option at the position, so Moore may well have some value down the stretch. Yes, fantasy football is a weird game sometimes.
Falcons TE Tony Gonzalez only has scored one TD in the last four games, but he's had at least six catches and 67 yards in each of those games, which is quality production for a fantasy tight end. Keep Gonzalez in the lineup, even if Matt Ryan is inactive and Chris Redman gets another start.
Packers TE Jermichael Finley is getting hot at just the right time for fantasy purposes. Finley took advantage of the absence of Ravens star S Ed Reed Monday night, catching 7-79-2. This weekend he faces a Bears safety corps of rookie Al Afalava and Kevin Payne that is starting together for only the second time.
Chargers TE Antonio Gates is playing his best football of the season, catching 15 passes for 285 yards and two TDs in his last two games. Although the Cowboys could provide more of a challenge than he's seen in recent weeks, Gates is simply dominating the middle of the field these days and deserves to be started in all fantasy formats.
