After sitting out four games with a dislocated toe, Broncos ORT Ryan Harris returned in Week 13, but he re-injured the toe and was placed on injured reserve Dec. 9, dealing a major blow to the club's offense. The O-line struggled during Harris' four-game absence, and the team's flexibility in the passing game will be limited down the stretch, observers say. TE Daniel Graham is more of a blocking tight end than a pass catcher anyway, but he'll be kept in to help Harris' replacement at right tackle, second-year veteran Tyler Polumbus, much more frequently in passing situations than he did while Harris was anchoring the right side. When Harris missed four games earlier, Graham had just three catches for 39 yards. He had averaged more than two catches per game before Harris' absence. Leaving Polumbus, whose short arms serve as a hindrance in pass blocking, in one-on-one situations against top pass rushers would put QB Kyle Orton in great danger.
