It's been clear to close observers of the Seahawks that starting LCB Marcus Trufant has struggled more than a little since coming off the physically-unable-to-perform list. "They have been throwing his way more than usual," said one observer. "It's unsettling, all the penalties he's been called for (seven since returning from the PUP list). He's been OK at times, but he just hasn't looked right." On the other hand, things are looking up at the other corner, where feisty Josh Wilson has stepped up his game enough to make offseason addition Ken Lucas more of an afterthought than the major upgrade opposite Trufant that the Seahawks had hoped he would become. "Another good thing is how much better (No. 3 CB) Kelly Jennings has been playing after having really lost his confidence," the observer said. "It was his deflection that led to Wilson's interception for a TD in the (Week 12) win over the Rams."
