Marty Schottenheimer said he was not interested in returning to the NFL as a head coach during Tuesday's broadcast of "The Red Zone" on Sirius NFL Radio.
Schottenheimer, who coached the Chargers as recently as 2006 and also spent time as the head coach in Cleveland, Kansas City and Washington, has been linked to the Bills' head-coaching position after Dick Jauron was fired last week. In 21 years as a head coach, he compiled a 200-126-1 regular-season record, going 5-13 in the playoffs.
Schottenheimer also told interviewer Alex Marvez that he did not have any desire to become a general manager in the league, as he has no prior experience in that area.
