Steelers SS Troy Polamalu (knee sprain) will miss Pittsburgh's Week 11 game at Kansas City, according to multiple media outlets.
Polamalu reinjured his left knee in Pittsburgh's 18-12 loss to Cincinnati on Sunday. He has missed half of Pittsburgh's 10 games this season because of knee injuries.
One of the game's top playmaking safeties, Polamalu has 20 tackles, seven passes defensed and three interceptions in his five starts this season. Tyrone Carter, a long-time reserve for the Steelers, will start in place of Polamalu.
