The Jaguars have had a difficult time keeping David Garrard upright this season (Garrard has been hit a league-leading 68 times). Head coach Jack Del Rio's constant shuffling on the line earlier in the season was unpopular in the locker room, and didn't help matters. But it appears he has finally settled on a consistent five, and they have been playing much better lately. Our sources tell PFW that the club has been very pleased with the play of rookie OTs Eugene Monroe and Eben Britton, and they both have very bright futures with the team. Third-year OG Uche Nwaneri played so well in Maurice Williams' absence, that Williams has become the odd man out. OLG Vince Manuwai also has been solid a year after tearing his ACL, and should continue to improve. C Brad Meester is likely nearing the end of a solid career, but we hear the rest of the line has a lot of potential for growth as they gain continuity as a unit.
PFW has launched its brand-new NFL Draft Newsletter series, with the second issue being released later this month. Produced by PFW's player personnel department under the direction of Nolan Nawrocki, the series consists of four information-packed issues.
