It didn't take Bills QB Trent Edwards long to find a spot back on the bench.
After struggling in his return to the lineup last Sunday at Tennessee, Edwards is expected to be replaced by Ryan Fitzpatrick for Sunday's game at Jacksonville, according to NFL.com.
Missing two games following a concussion, Edwards came back last week to go 18-for-28 passing for 185 yards with one touchdown and one interception before being yanked late in the contest in favor of Fitzpatrick. On the season, Edwards has a just a 74.1 passer rating with a 6-7 TD-INT ratio.
Starting two games while Edwards was out, Fitzpatrick didn't light it up, either, throwing for 240 yards, one TD and two interceptions in the two contests combined. However, the Bills preferred the way their offense operated with Fitzpatrick under center and will give him another shot this week.
