Looking for the best players to target on the waiver wire this week? Well, the Fantasy Ticker is just the place for that. Here are the top pickups for Week 11, as well as a key player to trade for and one you may want to quickly unload.

HOT PURCHASES

These players should be free agents in many leagues. Pounce on them if you can.

Falcons RB Jason Snelling (owned in 7 percent of Yahoo! leagues)
Michael Turner had been on an incredible hot streak over the past few weeks, but an ankle injury on Sunday could derail him for a couple of weeks, if not longer. Enter Snelling, who came into Sunday's contest in relief and proceeded to rush for 61 yards and one TD on 18 carries, also catching three passes for 32 yards. With Jerious Norwood also out indefinitely, Snelling could be Atlanta's featured back for the foreseeable future, giving him lots of value in the team's run-first offense. With the ability to both run and catch, Snelling makes for a fantastic pickup in all formats.

Seahawks RB Justin Forsett (10 percent owned)
Forsett's support in the fantasy community had been growing for some time, but Sunday's injury to Julius Jones should have the second-year player on everyone's fantasy radar. Taking over as the lead back early on against the Cardinals, Forsett showed big-play ability, rushing 17 times for 123 yards and a TD. He also added five catches for 26 yards. Reports Sunday night said Jones was in the hospital with a broken rib and bleeding in his lungs, injuries that figure to sideline him for multiple weeks. Forsett should see the bulk of the carries while Jones is out, so feel free to add him if you need immediate RB help.

Bengals RB Bernard Scott (5 percent owned)
Scott was the beneficiary of yet another running back getting hurt on Sunday, as Cedric Benson was forced to sit out a large portion of the contest against the Steelers with a hip injury. Scott didn't do a whole lot in relief, rushing for 33 yards on 13 carries and catching a 21-yard pass, but remember that he was facing the Steelers' nearly impenetrable run defense. Against lesser opponents, the rookie likely would have much more success if given ample work. Although Benson claims he will be able to play in Week 11 at Oakland, his owners would be wise to grab Scott as insurance. If Benson can't go, Scott would be a terrific fantasy play against the Raiders' porous run "D."

Rams WR Donnie Avery (36 percent owned)
Dumped by most of his owners after a putrid first month, Avery has finally started to come around again. He had his best game of the season Sunday vs. the Saints, catching four passes for 67 yards and two TDs. Don't look now, but that's four scores in the last five games for Avery. Although he's almost guaranteed to be inconsistent, the second-year blazer had clear big-play potential and is a nice wideout to have on your team for depth. With a slew of lackluster pass defenses on the upcoming schedule, he could be a surprise down the stretch.

BUY LOW

Here's a player who has underperformed thus far and seen his value drop. Trade for him before it's too late.

Saints WR Marques Colston
It's been back-to-back down weeks for the normally productive Colston. After catching just one pass for 45 yards in Week Nine, he followed it up with a two-grab, 17-yard outing on Sunday, which included a lost fumble. But don't count him out yet. Colston had scored in three consecutive contests prior to his two-game slump, and the ball he fumbled Sunday was nearly a TD, as it came right at the goal line. Although QB Drew Brees likes to spread the ball around, Colston is still his favorite target, and he's not about to go on a prolonged cold streak. The wideout should get back on track this week against the Buccaneers, so get him while you can.

SELL HIGH

Deal this guy for productive players now, because his value is about to fall off.

Broncos WR Brandon Marshall
Marshall has been a stud in two consecutive games, catching 11-112-0 in Week Nine and grabbing five passes for 134 yards and two TDs on Sunday at Washington. But almost all his production came on two first-quarter bombs from QB Kyle Orton; once Orton left the game with an ankle injury, Marshall was held in check. With Orton's status unknown and the possibility that Chris Simms could be under center for the Broncos, it might be wise to get rid of Marshall while his value is high. His stats will almost surely drop off if Simms is at QB, and if Denver's losing streak continues, he could begin to act up again. There's a lot of risk involved with the volatile receiver, so keep him at your own peril.
