The reprimands just keep coming for Bengals WR Chad Ochocinco, who said he has been fined $20,000 for taking a dollar bill onto the field during an officials’ review of one of his catches during the Bengals’ 17-7 victory over the Ravens in Week Nine. Ochocinco held the dollar in his right hand but did not attempt to give it to the official, who motioned the receiver to stay away.
The colorful Ochocinco has received his share of fines for using props during games, and he has shown no signs of stopping that practice despite the league’s crackdown in that regard. The league also prohibits insulting gestures toward officials.
Rock Software, Inc., which made Ochocinco’s iPhone application, said it would donate an additional $20,000 in Ochocinco’s name to the Hillview Acres home for abused children in Chino, Calif.
