Titans third-year C Leroy Harris could eventually replace starter Kevin Mawae, who's in the final year of his contract and will be 39 in January. But Harris, who has also shown the ability to play guard, was unexpectedly thrust into the lineup at right tackle in the Week Nine win over San Francisco as a result of David Stewart's hamstring injury (as well as a knee injury to reserve Mike Otto). He responded well to the challenge, and head coach Jeff Fisher gave him high marks for his play. "We did not make any changes from the time Dave injured his hamstring to the time we kicked off," Fisher said of the Niners game. "We stuck with our offensive game plan, which I think speaks volumes of what Leroy’s able to do." Make no mistake: Stewart is the Titans' right tackle for the long term, and Harris' future is inside, but Harris' versatility is yet another asset for a Tennessee offensive line that's again having a fine season.
