Word is the Buccaneers are concerned that WR Antonio Bryant is focusing too much on his next contract before finishing out his current one. Tampa Bay used the franchise tag on Bryant in the offseason, which gave him a one-year deal worth $9.88 million in guaranteed money, but he has been plagued by swelling and pain in the left knee that was operated on in August to repair a torn meniscus. The seventh-year veteran, who sat out in Week Nine, has made it clear that, like most players, the longevity of his career is on his mind, and he wants to avoid making a bad situation worse by returning to the field before the knee is ready. The organization, however, is expecting Bryant to be its No. 1 receiver and would like to see him establish a rapport with first-round pick QB Josh Freeman in the second half of the season.
