Will Peyton Manning be ready to put on a fantasy show Sunday night against archrival Tom Brady? On pace for a league-record 5,090 passing yards, Manning shows no signs of slowing down after his seventh 300-yard passing performance in eight games last Sunday against the Texans. It's worth noting that in the Colts' 18-15 win over New England in Week Nine last season, Manning's most prolific target was WR Anthony Gonzalez, who snared a pair of TD passes in the victory. Gonzalez (knee) remains out.

Another QB on a national stage this week is Bears signalcaller Jay Cutler, who takes on the Niners' 24th-ranked pass defense Thursday night in San Francisco. Cutler put up excellent fantasy numbers last week with three TD passes and 369 passing yards.

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers needs to rebound after a sloppy three-pick effort in last week's upset loss in Tampa Bay. Coming into the Tampa game, Rodgers had thrown only two interceptions. This Sunday he will be up against an improving Dallas defense that could be in his face more than a little. Rodgers still demonstrated his big-play prowess vs. the Bucs, connecting on a 74-yard TD bomb to WR James Jones.

Cardinals QB Kurt Warner, who is coming off a perfect five-TD game (with zero interceptions) against the Bears, faces a Seattle secondary that pilfered five passes last Sunday but has had major problems defending star WR Larry Fitzgerald.

Niners QB Alex Smith threw two TD passes and had 286 yards passing against the Titans last week, but he took a step back with three interceptions in the same game. What could be good news for Smith is that he's facing a Bears defense coming off its second absolutely ghastly outing in the last three games, surrendering 41 points to the Cardinals.

You have to wonder just how fresh Seahawks QB Matt Hasselbeck's throwing arm feels after 39 completions in 51 attempts for 329 yards — his first 300-yard passing game in two years — in last week's come-from-behind victory over the Lions. Hasselbeck faces an Arizona Sunday defense that didn't pressure Jay Cutler much last week. A tender right shoulder has limited Hasselbeck in practices this week, but he should be good to go in a huge divisional game on the road in the desert.

Falcons QB Matt Ryan had one of his best outings of the season vs. the Panthers in Week Two, when he completed 21-of-27 passes for 220 yards, three TDs and one interception. The second-year QB has fallen on hard times recently, though, tossing nine picks in his last five games. He'll face the sixth-ranked pass defense when he travels to Charlotte on Sunday. Keep Ryan on the bench until he gets over his current struggles.

Bucs QB Josh Freeman had a nice debut in Week Nine, as he threw three TDs and just one interception vs. Green Bay. He's far from starting material in terms of fantasy football, but he could become a decent backup option in leagues of 12 teams or more later this season.

Broncos QB Kyle Orton is not a good play this week. He has not performed well in the past two games and will go up against the league's top-ranked pass defense at Washington on Sunday.

Bills QB Trent Edwards will return from a concussion this week to face the Titans, but that doesn't mean he belongs in fantasy lineups. Although Tennessee ranks last against the pass, the "D" has played better the last couple weeks since its secondary has returned to health. Edwards, meanwhile, wasn't exactly tearing it up before his injury, and it's unlikely that he suddenly becomes a prolific passer upon returning. Play it safe and avoid him in all formats.

There has been a lot of talk about Vikings QB Brett Favre's strained groin, even after the bye. In addition, he has had ankle, foot and knee problems. But Favre brushed off the injury talk this week, and despite limited participation in practice, he should be fine in what is a great matchup against the Lions. Expect more deep shots than Favre took in the first matchup against them.

Redskins QB Jason Campbell's ankle is still limiting him, but you shouldn't be playing him anyway unless you are sabotaging your league.

Ravens QB Joe Flacco hasn't exceeded 200 yards passing in either of his last two starts, and he has just one TD pass in that span. However, he's a decent option in bigger leagues this week, as he draws a Cleveland defense that he riddled for 342 yards and a TD in Week Three.

Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger has thrown multiple TD passes in four of his last five games, and he is on pace for 4,590 yards passing. He continues to play exceptionally well.

Titans QB Vince Young is playing well, and fantasy owners should note he ran for his first TD of the season Week Nine at San Francisco. If he begins to mix in a few more big-play runs with accurate passes, he'll definitely have some value to owners down the stretch. He's not a bad play in big leagues facing a Buffalo defense that could be preoccupied trying to shut down RB Chris Johnson.
