The Redskins officially ended SS Chris Horton’s season, placing him on injured reserve.

Horton injured his left big toe against the Falcons in Week Nine and was projected to miss a month, but after further evaluation the club decided to put him on I.R. Horton likely needs surgery to repair the ligament in his toe. He had been splitting time with Reed Doughty at strong safety.

The team re-signed RB Quinton Ganther, who had been signed three weeks ago and was cut last Saturday.
