Browns QB Brady Quinn, who started Cleveland's first three games before being benched in favor of Derek Anderson, will return to the lineup for the Week 10 game vs. Baltimore, head coach Eric Mangini said Wednesday.
Quinn was pulled at halftime of the Browns' 34-3 loss at Baltimore in Week Three after completing 6-of-8 passes for 34 yards with zero TDs and one interception. But Anderson struggled even worse in his stint in the lineup, throwing just two TD passes and nine interceptions and compiling a meager 36.2 QB rating in six games (including five starts).
"He's had good weeks of practice,'' Mangini said of Quinn, according to The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer. "He's worked hard since the first transition was made. I look forward to him taking advantage of this opportunity and helping us improve.''
Quinn, who is in his third NFL season, will be making just his seventh start.
