The league office is investigating an altercation between Redskins CB DeAngelo Hall and members of the Falcons, Hall's former team, during Sunday's game. League spokesman Randall Liu confirmed the NFL will review the game tape for possible disciplinary action.
Hall was surrounded by Falcons players after fellow Redskins DB LaRon Landry was whistled for a late hit near the Falcons' bench. Hall claimed that Falcons coach Mike Smith attempted to put his hands on him "in a harmful way," and Redskins coach Jim Zorn said Monday that a review of the tape seemed to verify Hall's account.
Hall said he would file a complaint with commissioner Roger Goodell.
