When the Titans couldn't re-sign DT Albert Haynesworth in the offseason, they were left with a gaping hole in the middle — and the salary-cap space to try and restock the interior of their defensive line. To that end, they signed ex-Buccaneers DT Jovan Haye to a four-year, $16 million contract. But Haye, who flashed potential as a pass rusher in Tampa Bay, has been a major disappointment, and he was a healthy scratch for the Week Eight game vs. Jacksonville, benched in favor of Kevin Vickerson. Haye's production fell off in 2008, something the Titans chalked up to injuries, but his struggles have continued this season, as he has notched 14 tackles and zero tackles in his six starts. A source close to the club suggests the Titans won't give up on Haye after just one season, as the club rotates its defensive tackles. But his first season in Tennessee has not gone to plan.

PFW has launched its brand-new NFL Draft Newsletter series, with the second issue being released later this month. Produced by PFW's player personnel department under the direction of Nolan Nawrocki, the series consists of four information-packed issues.
