The Falcons' added a sixth player to their injured reserve list on Thursday, as the team announced LS Mike Schneck is done for the year. Atlanta signed Bryan Pittman to take over the long-snapping duties.
Schneck, an 11th-year veteran, had snapped in 35 consecutive games for the Falcons dating back to the 2007 season, and he's been dependable. Pittman spent the previous six season with the Texans. He was one of six players involved in the StarCaps case that is still being settled in court. Pittman tested positive for Bumetanide, a diuretic that is banned by the league.
Atlanta placed backup S Jamaal Fudge on injured reserve Wednesday with a knee injury he sustained in the Monday night loss to the Saints. The Falcons signed Charlie Peprah, who was released by the Packers after training camp this year, to take Fudge's roster spot.
