If nothing else, OLT Jared Gaither's neck injury has allowed the Ravens to see how rookie Michael Oher would fare in his place. And Oher, who starred at left tackle at Ole Miss but has mostly played right tackle in the pros, has fared very well, giving the Ravens two strong options at a position that can be tough to fill. Gaither returned to practice before Week Eight and started at left tackle in the win over Denver. But Oher left little doubt he could play there, too, the way we hear it. Gaither's absence also allowed the Ravens to work Marshal Yanda back into the lineup at right tackle. However, Yanda will be a player without a starting spot unless there are injuries along the line. Chris Chester, who replaced Yanda at right guard last season after Yanda suffered a season-ending knee injury, has seized the job and has been a pleasant surprise.
