RB Larry Johnson filed a non-injury grievance on Friday against the Chiefs, who suspended him two weeks for conduct detrimental to the team, according to NFL.com.

Johnson received the suspension earlier this week for derogatory comments he made both on Twitter and to reporters in the locker room. He is currently not allowed to participate in team activities until Nov. 9.

The Kansas City Star is reporting that the Chiefs and Johnson's agent, Peter Schaffer, have discussed a settlement, which would avoid a grievance hearing if agreed upon. Whether the settlement would result in Johnson's release from the team is not known.
