The Titans will name their starting quarterback for their Week Eight game vs. Jacksonville on Thursday, head coach Jeff Fisher said Wednesday.

Kerry Collins started the Titans' first six games of the season, but backup Vince Young could get a chance to play soon. The (Nashville) Tennessean reported this week that owner Bud Adams would like to see Young in the lineup.

Collins, 36. has completed 108-of-197 passes for 1,071 yards with five TDs and eight interceptions this season. He has started the last 21 regular-season games for Tennessee. Young, 26, the No. 3 overall pick in the 2006 draft, has no completions in five attempts in 2009. He lost the starting job to Collins last season.
