The Jets replaced RB-RS Leon Washington on Tuesday after putting him on injured reserve. CB-RS Justin Miller, who played for the Jets from 2005 through the first half of last season, was re-signed and will take over the kick-returning duties Washington handled so well.

Miller signed with the Raiders after the Jets let him go last season and he returned kicks for the club in Week Four of this season before getting released. He made the Pro Bowl as a returner after the 2006 campaign.

Washington broke his right fibula on Sunday in the first quarter of the Jets' win over the Raiders and underwent surgery later the same day, according to reports.
