Texans WR Andre Johnson suffered a lung contusion in Sunday's win vs. San Francisco, with head coach Gary Kubiak calling his condition "day-to day" and indicating Johnson might be able to play in Week Eight at Buffalo, according to the club's official Web site. The injury will continue to be monitored, Kubiak indicated.
Johnson suffered the injury making a 44-yard catch in the fourth quarter on Sunday. He was taken to a local hospital for tests.
Johnson has caught 38 passes for 634 yards and four TDs this season. He has not missed a game since 2007, when he sat out seven games with a knee injury. He is averaging a career-high 16.7 yards per catch this season.
