The Rams have announced that third-round rookie CB Bradley Fletcher will miss the rest of the season with two torn ligaments in his right knee. Fletcher started for the third straight game and was injured in the second half of Sunday’s 42-6 loss to the Colts. Rams head coach Steve Spagnuolo said Monday that Fletcher’s injury will require two operations and he might not be ready for the start of next season. Fletcher will likely be replaced in the starting lineup by third-year veteran Jonathan Wade.
The Rams also lost veteran LS Chris Massey for the season with a knee injury suffered against the Colts. Potential replacements at long-snapper were auditioning Monday.
In other news on the injury front, starting ORG Richie Incognito will be out this week with a ligament injury to his right foot. OT Adam Goldberg is likely to move to Incognito’s spot, with first-round draft pick Jason Smith starting at right tackle.
