The Dolphins could be starting two rookies at cornerback for the rest of the season.
Miami's secondary took a severe hit on Sunday, as CB Will Allen suffered a torn ACL and will miss the rest of the season, according to reports. Allen started all six games this season and has made starts in 12 or more games every year since entering the league in 2001. He signed a new three-year contract with Miami in May that included $10 milion guaranteed.
Rookie first-round pick Vontae Davis will step into a larger role with Allen out and is expected to start alongside fellow rookie Sean Smith.
