The Steelers could be left with a tough decision on PK Jeff Reed in the offseason. Reed, who's in the final year of his contract, has thrived at Heinz Field, home to challenging winds and what many regard to be the NFL's toughest field surface on which to kick. But Reed has been arrested twice since February, the latest coming on Oct. 18, when he was charged with disorderly conduct, public drunkenness, resisting arrest and simple assault after allegedly getting into an altercation with police outside a Pittsburgh bar. Head coach Mike Tomlin didn't deactivate Reed for the Week Seven game vs. Minnesota, noting that the arrest was not a distraction to the team's preparation for the Vikings. And even as Reed has struggled somewhat early this season, it's clear the Steelers don't want to be looking around for another kicker right now. But the test of their long-term relationship will come in the offseason, when Reed could get a chance to test the market.
