Browns CB Eric Wright flipped his silver Mercedes on a slick highway entrance ramp early Friday and was taken to the hospital, according to police. Wright returned to practice Friday afternoon.

Wright was brought to MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland after the accident and released. Browns spokesman Neal Gulkis said Wright was sent for further tests by the Browns' medical staff after he arrived at a team facility later Friday morning.

Wright rode a stationary bike and appeared to be uninjured while being observed by reporters. Browns head coach Eric Mangini was hopeful Wright would be able to play in Sunday's game versus the Packers, but Mangini was not sure whether Wright would be cleared to practice.

Wright was not ticketed for the crash, which occured at 2:10 a.m. ET east of downtown Cleveland. His car suffered a significant amount of damage and was towed.
