After suffering the second concussion of his NFL career in Sunday's overtime victory over the Jets, Bills QB Trent Edwards will undergo further examinations and his status for the Bills' Week Seven game at Carolina is uncertain.

Edwards was knocked out in the second quarter of Buffalo's come-from-behind 16-13 victory. According to head coach Dick Jauron, Edwards was healthy enough to travel home with the team.

If Edwards can't play, backup QB Ryan Fitzpatrick will start against the Panthers.
