The Saints placed rookie WR Rod Harper on injured reserve Friday and re-signed rookie QB Chase Daniel, who had been waived by the team on Monday.

Harper, who returned two punts for TDs in the preseason, has been hampered by a stress fracture in his left foot and has not been active for a regular-season game.
