1. New York Giants: Obliterate the weak; that's what great teams do.

2. New Orleans Saints: Brees poised in pocket, picking college games on GameDay.

3. Indianapolis Colts: Defense amazes given litany of injuries.

4. Minnesota Vikings: The debate's over; Favre makes Vikings better.

5. Denver Broncos: How pumped was McDaniels after beating Belichick?!

6. Philadelphia Eagles: Offense rounding into form with McNabb, Westbrook back.

7. Pittsburgh Steelers: Roethlisberger stringing together career year.

8. New York Jets: ILBs David Harris, Bart Scott both making legit Pro Bowl cases.

9. New England Patriots: No shame in Mile High loss.

10. Cincinnati Bengals: After beating Steelers, Ravens, are they AFC North top dog?

11. Atlanta Falcons: Most complete effort yet in bludgeoning of the 49ers.

12. Baltimore Ravens: Questionable calls do them in two straight weeks.

13. Chicago Bears: Not the ideal time for a bye, but they'll take the rest.

14. San Diego Chargers: Here's hoping Bolts did some soul searching during bye.

15. Dallas Cowboys: Maybe T.O. wasn't the problem, after all.

16. San Francisco 49ers: Guess we needed that reality check. Thanks, Atlanta.

17. Green Bay Packers: After a bye, there's nothing like the Lions.

18. Arizona Cardinals: Cardinals not ceding anything in defense of NFC West crown.

19. Seattle Seahawks: Hasselbeck proves there's gas left in the tank.

20. Carolina Panthers: Needed a fourth-quarter rally to beat Redskins? Uh oh.

21. Miami Dolphins: Jason Taylor, Cameron Wake awaken dormant defense.

22. Houston Texans: Defense just refuses to do its part.

23. Jacksonville Jaguars: We take back the nice things we said about them recently.

24. Washington Redskins: Not a whole lot going right with sagging 'Skins.

25. Tennessee Titans: That was a Sunday-night embarrassment vs. the Colts.

26. Detroit Lions: QB controversy brewing? If 2009 is all that matters, there should be.

27. Cleveland Browns: Derek Anderson 2-of-17 passing vs. banged-up Bills secondary.

28. Buffalo Bills: At least the secondary did well!

29. Kansas City Chiefs: Confidence booster Cassel needed despite loss.

30. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: One last chance to win before crossing the pond.

31. Oakland Raiders: Wouldn't want to be Tom Cable these days.

32. St. Louis Rams: Limbaugh as owner? Might be too controversial to ever happen.
