Marc Bulger will be back under center Sunday when the Rams play at Jacksonville, health permitting, according to head coach Steve Spagnuolo.
Kyle Boller started the past two games in place of Bulger, who had suffered a bruised rotator cuff in the Green Bay game, but Boller was injured in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game. Head coach Steve Spagnuolo said Monday that there's no competition for the starting QB job; Bulger is the starter if he's healthy.
The winless Rams outgained the unbeaten Vikings 400-377 Sunday but were undermined by four turnovers, including three inside the Vikings' 10-yard line.
DT Gary Gibson was lost for the rest of the season after suffering a broken left ankle while blocking in the third quarter of Sunday's loss. Spagnuolo said he was optimistic that rookie OT Jason Smith (bruised left knee) would be able to play Sunday. Smith was active for the Minnesota game but didn't play.
