The Bengals' patience with LS Brad St. Louis finally ran out on Tuesday. Cincinnati released St. Louis, who struggled with his snapping on placements all season, and signed ex-Texans LS Clark Harris to replace him.

Four of St. Louis' snaps were off-target in the last two weeks, leading to two blocked field goals and a blocked extra point. Poor snaps also short-circuited a field-goal attempt in Week One and an extra-point attempt in Week Three.

Harris, who can also play tight end, appeared in four games as a long-snapper for Houston in 2008.
