The Green Bay Packers made two roster moves Monday morning, signing OT Mark Tauscher and placing CB-RS Will Blackmon on injured reserve. Tauscher, who played his first nine NFL seasons (2000-08) with the Packers, figures to be a strong candidate to take over as the starting right tackle in place of Allen Barbre, who has struggled in a starting role. Tauscher has seen action in 122 games, including 120 starts. He will be attempting to make a comeback from a torn ACL suffered in Week 14 last season.

Blackmon, a fourth-year pro, had seen action in three games in 2009 before suffering a season-ending torn ACL in the Packers’ Monday-night loss to the Vikings.
