Giants QB Eli Manning practiced on Friday, and the decision whether he plays Sunday vs. Oakland will "most likely" be decided on game day, head coach Tom Coughlin said, indicating he was encouraged by how the quarterback looked in practice.
Manning is battling plantar fasciitis in his right foot. He appeared in some pain during the Giants' Week Four win at Kansas City, but he managed to throw for 292 yards and three TDs.
Manning, 28, has been impressive in the first four games of the season, completing 63.2 percent of his passes and throwing eight TDs and against only two interceptions.
If Manning is out, the Giants will start David Carr.
