The Raiders will be without RB Darren McFadden for the next 2-4 weeks as he recovers from a meniscus tear, head coach Tom Cable told reporters on Monday.

It's another setback for a team that has spiraled downward in the past two weeks after nearly upsetting the Chargers in the season opener and beating the woeful Chiefs in Week Two. McFadden, though, is not performing up to expectations in his second season. He gained minus-three yards on six carries on Sunday, fumbled three times the previous week and is gaining just 3.1 yards per carry.

Oakland will split the carries between Justin Fargas and Michael Bush while McFadden is sidelined. The team will also have to replace ORT Cornell Green in the starting lineup, as he sustained a calf strain on Sunday and is expected to miss 2-4 weeks as well.
