Lions QB Matthew Stafford left Sunday's game against the Bears on Sunday with a subluxation of his knee, having it popped back into place. He was replaced for the remainder of the game by Daunte Culpepper.
Stafford will have an MRI on Monday to determine if there is any further structural damage, but the Lions are quietly confident he might not miss any time. One option could be to wear a protective brace.
Stafford suffered the injury when Bears DE Adewale Ogunleye sacked Stafford on a third-down play from the Bears' 6-yard line. After hitting the turf, Stafford yelled after his knee twisted during the sack.
The Lions' medical staff looked at Stafford extensively on the sideline. He stood up, tested the knee and then sat down.
