Heading into Monday night's showdown for the ages against the Packers, there has been little that Percy Harvin has done that hasn't impressed the Vikings. He has been a factor in the passing game and on kick returns, running back a crucial touchdown that swung momentum back in the Vikings' favor in Week Three. But he has a serious foe that has hindered him since childhood: migraine headaches. Although they sometimes can be controlled by medication, Harvin's migraines leading up to the 49ers game kept him out of practice for two days because they were so intense. The team has said it knew about Harvin's headaches when it investigated him before the draft, and they are helping him going forward by meeting with various specialists on how to control them. The headaches have caused him nausea, pain and dizzy spells, and there appears to be no pattern for what triggers them. But the Vikings believe they can help Harvin enough to prevent any major troubles that would prevent him from playing in a game.
