What was a trio of promising Colts rookies in 2008 now find themselves without jobs. Those three players — RB Mike Hart, OL Steve Justice and DE Marcus Howard — were among those the Colts waived on Saturday as rosters throughout the league were trimmed to the regular-season limit of 53.

The other players in Indianapolis who failed to make the roster are RB Lance Ball, WR Sam Giguere, DT John Gill, DT Adrian Grady, CB Dante Hughes, WR John Matthews, WR Brett McDermott, RB Walter Mendenhall, OG Tom Pestock, WR Taj Smith, LB Michael Tauiliili, DT Terrance Taylor, OT Jamie Thomas, DE Josh Thomas and OT Michael Toudouze.

Taylor and Jamie Thomas were members of the Colts' most recent draft class.
