The Jaguars reportedly have agreed to a contract with fourth-round pick Mike Thomas. The 5-foot-8 slot receiver signed a deal that will pay him $310,000 as a rookie, followed by $385,000, $480,000 and $565,000, the Florida Times-Union reports. Additionally, he received a $507,450 signing bonus.
The speedster out of Arizona enjoyed a decorated collegiate career, with his 259 receptions standing as a Pac-10 record. He’s expected to factor significantly into a reshuffled WR corps.
Additionally, Jacksonville released veteran DB Calvin Lowry.
