Browns WR Donté Stallworth admitted drinking three to four shots of tequila hours before striking and killing a pedestrian with his car, according to an interview Stallworth gave to Miami Beach police after the accident that was released Tuesday and can be accessed at MiamiHerald.com.

In the interview with police, Stallworth detailed how he met teammate Braylon Edwards at Liv nightclub at the upscale Fontainebleau hotel in Miami Beach between 2 and 2:30 a.m. on March 14. Stallworth told police that he drank "four (shots) at the most, but I wasn't really counting." Stallworth told police he left the club no later than 4:30 a.m. and drove home. He told police that he arrived home, took a short nap, then drove to get something to eat. At a little after 7 a.m, he struck and killed Mario Reyes, 59, who was crossing the MacArthur Causeway in Miami Beach. According to Miami Beach police, Stallworth's blood-alcohol level was .126.

Stallworth, 28, pled guilty to DUI manslaughter in June and was sentenced to 30 days in prison. Stallworth, who reportedly reached a financial settlement with Reyes' family, was also sentenced to eight years of probation, two years of house arrest and 1,000 hours of community service. He also can never drive again.

The NFL suspended Stallworth indefinitely in June.
