Jim Zorn is going to be in the crosshairs in his second season as the Redskins’ head coach. He has clashed with star RB Clinton Portis at times, although Portis says the relationship is fine, and Zorn and QB Jason Campbell admit they have to continue to further their rapport this season for the team to be successful. DE Andre Carter, one of the most popular players in the locker room, said Zorn hasn’t changed his business-first approach but has softened things a bit now that he’s more comfortable. “I think he’s more relaxed this year,” Carter told PFW. “Because it was his first year he was real tense and real uptight, but now being understanding of how we work collectively as a team, he is just a guy about business. [He] says we’re going to have fun, but we’re going to take care of business. I think last year it was such a different mentality because we’re learning about him, he’s learning more about us. So after getting that first year underneath our belt he’s having a better understanding … as far as what we need to do to be successful this season.”
