The Titans agreed to terms with rookie LB Gerald McRath, a fourth-round pick, on Tuesday.
The 6-3, 231-pound McRath primarily played in the middle at Southern Miss, but he will play outside linebacker in the Titans' 4-3 scheme. McRath notched more than 100 tackles in each of the three seasons in which he played for the Golden Eagles. In Pro Football Weekly's 2009 Draft Preview, personnel analyst Nolan Nawrocki wrote that McRath was a "run-and-chase linebacker who needs to be kept spotless to make plays."
The Titans have agreed to terms with five of their 11 draft picks. Their top two selections, WR Kenny Britt (first round) and DT Sen'Derrick Marks (second round), remain unsigned.
