Broncos WR Brandon Marshall formally requested a trade last month, but he told Denver police officers he was hoping to be dealt almost 20 months ago and said he hated Denver.
A police report from Marshall’s Oct. 22, 2007 arrest for driving under the influence was posted online Tuesday. Marshall lashed out at officers, according to the report.
“I hate Denver,” Marshall allegedly said. “I hope I get traded. I hate this (expletive) city.”
Marshall asked police “Why aren’t you guys out looking for (Darrent) Williams’ killer?”
Williams was killed during a drive-by shooting on Jan. 1, 2007.
Marshall also asked the police to let him go.
“I want to go home, how ’bout that?” Marshall said, according to the report.
